THE OLD ANDERSON ( Cottonwood ) CEMETERY
Ever since
Mr. Martin had moved to Anderson, California, he has been intrigued
by the sight of an old, unkept cemetery, seen by passersby of I-5
southbound traffic. On May 2, 2001, he decided on a whim to
visit the old Cemetery to determine if it had any Spirit activity.
What he found both surprised him, and amazed him. Here are his notations.
Upon first examination of records for this cemetery, we found
there were very few and there didn't seem to be any name given this piece
of land. Markers, most of which have been vandalized, or destroyed
by collectors, date from as early as 1876 to as late as 1939. When
I first visited the site at the end of April, 2001, the grasses which
covered the entire area were long, dry, and very unkept. A few days
after my visit to the cemetery, a groundskeeper had mowed the lawn,
making it appear a little less neglected.
Freeway Interstate
5 is located very close to the cemetery and appears that it might have been
build directly over some of the plots. Whether the bodies were relocated
from the Freeway construction site has not been evidenced.
Because of the lack of records giving this old cemetery a proper name,
I have chosen to call it, the Old Anderson Cemetery.
A few days previous to my night visit to the Old Anderson Cemetery,
I and my family visited the place with the express intent on my part
of searching out the area to familiarize myself with its grounds and any
possible hazards I may encounter during night studies in the future.
EMF meter readings only revealed
electromagnetic energies in the old Groundskeeper's shed at the South corner of the cemetery I found an electrical box within the shed and decided that could be the source of the readings on the EMF meter. No other readings which would indicate a Spirit Energy were discovered throughout the cemetery. The time was approximately 2:30 pm when we left the area. The pictures seen here were taken with a Polaroid Digital PDC640 camera.

The area in the picture to the far right is significant as it is the location and angle of the first picture I took with the Polaroid Digital camera on the first night visit and Photo Shoot.
On the night
of May 2, 2001, at 9:33pm, I arrived at the cemetery entrance
and parked just outside the first gate entrance. The main gate,
located about 100 feet down the dirt road is kept locked at all
hours.
I exited the vehicle with two flashlights, an EMF meter, the Digital Polaroid camera, and a comfortable folding chair. I then remained silent and still for about half an hour. But during that time, I became increasingly uncomfortable and I could tell I had the attention of at least one upset Spirit, though my Spirit Helpers assured me I was in no immediate danger.
I informed, audibly, that I was there for the purpose of gathering evidence of Spirits in this cemetery. I told them it was my hope to increase the knowledge of the cemetery's existence and state of decay by making my work public knowledge. Thus this might increase public visits to the place and possibly force government agencies in charge of this area to act properly and replace missing or stolen headstones, and give the cemetery its proper respect and historical significance. I then informed the Spirits that I was now going to begin photographing them, with their permission.
When I turned on my digital camera, I found that it was not working properly, insomuch that I was unable to use it. In addition, without taking so much as one picture, the Spirit Energy in the area had already used a quarter of the battery power of the camera. I attempted to take EMF readings, and although my flashlights both seemed to be working properly, my EMF meter refused to activate. Realizing that the Spirits might not be willing to have me photograph them, I decided to call it a night. It was a little after 10pm.
Because of the size of my vehicle, a three quarter ton suburban, I had to travel down the dirt road to the locked main gate to find a place wide enough to turn around. After having accomplished this, I returned to where I had first parked the vehicle to give the Spirits one more try. I turned off the engine and telepathically repeated my reason for being there. I sat in the vehicle for about ten minutes in my pleadings, when my Spirit Helpers told me to take the pictures NOW! I quickly grabbed my camera, and found it was now working properly with full battery power. I snapped three quick pictures from the truck window, being sure to point to the ground area as I was being instructed to do so by my Spirit Helpers. They then told me to leave as some of the angrier Spirits were ready to act. I started the vehicle and drove home.
When I got home, I immediately downloaded the three pictures I took. Two of the three pictures showed Spirit Orbs. These are shown below.
The picture above was the first shot that night immediately
following my Spirit Helper's instructions to start shooting. No,
that is not the moon near the fence. In my experience, the
moon is usually located somewhere in the sky. And on this night, the
moon was behind me in the clouds.

The picture taken above shows only two Spirit Orbs. The freeway is in the background and lights can be seen by cars passing by. The way to tell their lights apart from the Spirit Orbs is in the way it is seen. Man made lights from cars, signs, and homes usually come out with the center of the light spot remaining solid. While, Spirit Orbs often become lighter in the center showing a sort of nucleus at its innermost point. Of course, this is not always the rule for Spirit Orbs, but when we are dealing with the other spots in this picture, it is easy to see. Note the Spirit Orb in the center. At its edge, you can see the light of a passing car on the freeway interfering, and actually overpowering the light effect of the outer ring of the Spirit Orb. The small light spot to the far right is from a northbound automobile. And the images just to the left of the center Spirit Orb, the very dim ones, I am not sure about. They are too low to be part of the freeway lighting. And no homes are in that area, just trees. So, your guess is as good as mine. The second Spirit Orb in the picture can be seen faintly toward the top of the gatepost at the far lower west side.
Thursday night, May 3, 2001, Nick Papas and I decided to travel to the cemetery again. This time, it was my intention to see if the Spirits would again appear so clearly if I brought along a companion. We arrived at 10:30pm and sat in Nick's vehicle, deciding to talk softly, for approximately half an hour. After doing so, we left our vehicle and began to walk around the cemetery, in absolute silence. After about five minutes, I began to take random direction pictures, again with the digital Polaroid. No EMF meter readings were attempted. We took 17 pictures this night, and below are the pictures which showed any sign of Spirit Activity. I must point out here, that no sooner had I turned on the camera, then the power of the batteries went down 25% within a few seconds. Nick mentioned several times that his hair was standing on end. All I felt was a little cold, but I took pictures whenever he mentioned his discomfort..... or the mood struck me.
In this picture you can see a couple of Spirit Orbs. There is the odd blue one partially manifested, and the more obvious one in the upper left corner. The light at the gate is a headlight from a car on I-5 southbound. The bright thing to the far left foreground is the reflections off of Nicks truck. Ooops. |
This is the Groundskeeper's shed where I first found active EMF readings in my daytime visit a few days earlier. Perhaps my readings did mean a Spirit Presence I thought was electrically based. There is a Spirit Orb located at its roof. The small spot on the left of the shack toward the ground is part of a plant. |

This one's a good picture. There are actually eight Spirit Orbs in this picture.... some are very faint, and some are very close together. Who knows, I might have missed some. This picture was taken aimed away from the freeway, gates, and home lights. No trash was in the area. Also, those two large objects toward the left center of the picture are not Orbs, but tombstones. |
This was the last successful picture of the night. The Spirit Orb is seen in the upper left area of the shot. The small spot toward the ground on the left side of the photo is not an orb, but the remains of a headstone which was stolen by some thoughtless vandal/collector/ piece of ... uh.... well, you know what I mean. |
