Old Anderson Cemetery, Continued

THE OLD ANDERSON ( Cottonwood )CEMETERY

On May 4th, 2001, Mr. Martin made his last planned Spirit Photo Shoot at the Old Anderson Cemetery. Here are his notations for that night's examination :

I was to be accompanied by a new student this night, but she was a no show. I had brought with me two flashlights, an EMF meter, the Polaroid PDC640 Digital camera, a watch with a sweeping second hand, a western history magazine ( for the time I planned on just sitting there doing nothing else), and a comfortable folding chair. I had arrived just shortly after 9pm.

After shutting off the vehicle's engine, I immediately started talking to the Spirits in the area, letting them know "it's me again" with all the same information and intentions of the previous nights. I then went to the center area of the cemetery, sat down in my chair, and remained silent for about five minutes. Then I felt inclined to begin telling the Spirits of the area my thoughts. I told them who I was, an introduction of sorts, and a little history of myself and my family in the Red Bluff, Anderson, Redding, and Old Shasta City areas. I figured, maybe they might be familiar with my ancestors since they had much to do with the settling of the aforementioned areas as some of the first pioneers.

I continued this kind of conversation, reminding them again why I was there and how sorry I was for the predicament of the destruction of their burial places. I thought about reading my Wild West magazine I had brought along, but reconsidered when I thought about the era of the pioneers buried at the cemetery and the possibility of animosity the pioneers might have had from their dealings with Indians across the United States. This particular edition of Wild West Magazine was based on the Native American experience..... so..... I sat for about five more minutes. Asked the Spirits one more time for their cooperation in this effort, explained the rules of non-attachment, and set off to taking pictures. This night, I took 49 pictures, with 20 good shots of Spirit Orbs and one face being the result.

The bright spots seen on each edge of this picture are lights.
The Spirit Orbs are near the grave stones and seen lightly to the
left of the picture.

All lights seen here are Spirit Orbs as no buildings or
reflections are in this direction.

The Spirit Orbs are easily visible here. But we are facing the
freeway, so, the brightest lights are autos and the large sign is
easy to determine. Spirit Orbs are from center picture and
to the left.

Here I caught a Spirit Orb in movement. Another light one sits directly in front of the tombstone seen third from the left.

One Spirit Orb is seen about center picture. A very bright one is closer, toward the ground, and on the right side.

I took this picture when my Spirit Helpers told me to just shoot into a darkened area above the gravestones. The Spirit Orb to the left, top is the result.

Because of heavy freeway traffic, I asked the Spirits
to head toward the ground area for photos so that they
could be seen away from freeway traffic headlights
and signs.

This was another one of those pictures requested by my Spirit
Helpers. They said turn to that dark corner and shoot. I did.
I'm learning not to argue with them in photo shoots.

Another good shot of many Spirit Orbs. The Xs you see lit so well are Railroad Crossing marks.

Again, you can see the brightly lit Railroad Crossing signs. There is much Spirit activity near the Railroad area. This, of course, will mean more investigations of that particular area.

The bright light on the top left is from a building just a hundred yards from this cemetery. However, the tombstone to the center back, shows the faint face of some person.... look at the frame to the right >>>

I have enlarged the photo to show the faint image of a face looking at my photo taking experience.

The brightest spot in the center of the picture is from a building. All others are Spirit Orbs.

Here is another example of a Spirit Orb in movement. Other lighter Orbs can be seen floating about.

All lights here are Spirit Orbs. This is the same area where my first picture taken at night was taken. Again, I am right by the Railroad tracks.

I took this picture after I started the vehicle to leave. My Spirit Helpers told me to take one more shot. The little light in the middle is a Spirit Orb as are all the little Orbs to the far left. The light thingie on the wooden gate post is a piece of plastic sign.. there is no writing on the plastic.
