Type of Phenomena: Malevolent Inhuman Spirit
Manifestation: At this site, an MIS is responsible for the only officially documented case where a Spirit has murdered someone. The Bell Witch has been the subject for many books. Locals burned the old house down due to fears. However, the property still exists. Tours of the Witch Cave, located on the farm, have been conducted by the current owner.
Directions: The Bell Farm is located in Robertson County along teh Red River, near the Kentucky state line. A Tennessee Historical Marker is on U.S.Hwy 41 commemorating the site of the farm. A stone monument has been erected in memory of the Bell family. A smooth gravel driveway leads up to where the house once stood.

Manifestation: A ball of light travels along this railroad crossing. It passes through people and cars, dimming slightly while doing to. Nothing is harmed in its passing.
Directions: The light is seen near the dirt road that takes a sharp dip as it crosses the L&N tracks west of town. Witnesses usually face north as the light approaches.

Manifestation: An evil presence is sensed by all who venture under this old bridge. It appears as a hooded monk with a skull for a face.
Directions: The bridge spans teh Watauga River on the road between Elizabethton and Watauga Lake.

Manifestation: Psychic have claimed that the Spirit of Meriwether Lewis still haunts this place.
Directions: A round, granite pillar marks Meriwether's grave. The park is located off the Natchez Parkway outside Gordonsburg. Take a look for interesting readings at Grinder's Mill, 230 yards south of the monument. It is where Meriwether was murdered. 38456.

Directions: The park is located off the old Erwin Highway. The cave is located 100 feet east of the restored farmhouse.
